- The sum assured after the policy term expires
- A two-year contributed premium can be used as collateral for a facility
Things to know
- Minimum monthly premium of GHS100
- Minimum policy term of 4 years and maximum of 10 years
- Payments under this plan shall be made in Ghanaian currency through the policy holder’s GCB account
- The plan will lapse if the premium is not paid by its due date, except in the event of the policyholder's death
- Waiting period of 91 days to be eligible for the sum assured in the event of death
- Policy holders are eligible to receive a surrender value after they have paid premiums for up to 24 months

- The policy can be reinstated within 12 months from the date of default by the policyholder
- Sum assured will be paid to beneficiaries or legal representatives in the event of death
- The policy holder is entitled to 50% of the sum assured if incapacitated during the term due to specified conditions, with the policy continuing until maturity

- Medical cause of death / Death Certificate in case of death of policy holder
- Police report in the event of death resulting from accidents
