Ms. Ama Sarpong Bawuah, Head of Communications and Public Affairs for Coca Cola Equatorial Africa has been appointed a director of GCB Bank Ltd.
With responsibility for nine countries including Guinea, Cape Verde and Sao Tome and Principe, Ama is responsible for stakeholder engagement and government relations, establishing relations and working effectively with external stakeholders to create opportunities for the facilitation of the company's operations.

A strategic management executive, Ms. Bawuah has several years experience and a comprehensive knowledge of innovative solutions and best practices in public affairs and communications. Her core competencies include management strategy and business development, applied analytics of client relation metrics and a hands-on deal origination, structuring and execution.
She was a UNDP Advisor on Aid and Funding coordination to the Government of Ghana and founder and CEO of Mark 7 Consult, a boutique management consulting firm.
She also worked as Vice President for Citigroup Corporate and Investment Bank’s Global Transaction Services in New York and was the West Africa Director for the Whitaker Group.
