GCB Bank PLC, Ghana’s leading indigenous Bank, has marked its 70th Anniversary celebrations with a commemorative cake cutting, unveiling of the anniversary logo and flag raising ceremony at the Head Office in Accra on Friday, 19th May 2023.
The cake cutting activity was replicated across the Bank’s 186 branches in the country with the involvement of all stakeholders especially cherished customers who were present at the Branches on the day.
The Executive Management of the Bank while attending a meeting of staff in Takoradi, the Western Regional capital on 20th May took the opportunity to mark the day with a symbolic cake cutting ceremony.
The Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Kofi Adomakoh, entreated staff to put their shoulders to the wheel to leave a lasting legacy for the next generation.
“We hear of organizations who are 100 years and over still in existence and are strong. Let’s endeavour to see GCB in many years to come still waxing strong and making great strides in the financial sector in Ghana,” the MD added.
The event was characterized with music, cheers and well wishes from everyone present.
