70th Anniversary Mothers Day

GCB Bank PLC has rewarded 70 female customers of the Bank as part of activities marking the 70th Anniversary of Ghana’s largest financial institution.
The theme for the anniversary is “70 years of providing unrivalled financial solutions to the socio-economic development of Ghana”. The female customers selected from the 186 branches of the Bank also turned 70 years this year. They were presented with GTP cloth and GCB branded souvenirs.

The branch managers and staff presented the gifts to the awardees. The female customers expressed appreciation to the management of the Bank for the special recognition. Some of them described the reward as memorable and surprising.

GCB was established in May 1953 as the Bank of the Gold Coast to offer banking services to Ghanaian businesses, merchants, entrepreneurs and individuals.
The name of the Bank was changed to Ghana Commercial Bank when Ghana attained independence in 1957. It was rebranded as GCB Bank Limited in 2014 and later as GCB Bank PLC in compliance with legislation.
