Terms and Conditions
1. Terms and conditions: Information on how to enter and information on prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid and will be rejected.
The Promoter: GCB Bank Limited (registered number PL 000202015) whose registered office is at GCB Bank Building, Head Odffice No. 2 Thorpe Road with digital address being GA 183-2490 John Evans Atta Mills High Street, Accra Ghana.
2. Who is eligible to enter: entry is open to all Personal/Retail Banking customers of GCB Bank Ltd.
3. Who is not eligible to enter: All employees of the Promoter and their families or anyone professionally connected with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Family is defined to include the spouses, parents, children and siblings.
4. Promotion Period: From Sunday 9th May 2021 to Saturday, 29th May 2021.
5. How to enter:
The Customer holding a GCB accounts (savings and current account);
· must have registered on the GCB Mobile Banking Service with a valid and active SIM Number
· must use of the USSD Shortcode *422# to purchase a minimum airtime value of GHS10.00 within the period 10th to 29th May 2021 and GHS50.00 on May 9, 2021(from 6am to 6pm each day).
· The airtime purchase can be for yourself or others (3rd parties)
· The purchase must fall within the first 1,000 transactions that meet the above criteria in the day and must be initiated from your phone number (SIM)
· No single phone number will be rewarded more than once (1) in a day, notwithstanding the number of purchases made.
· The Airtime purchase should be paid for directly from the subscriber’s bank account(s) associated with the GCB Mobile Banking Service (*422#). The associated account must be in funds to meet the purchase amount requested for.
· The phone number (SIM) must be provisioned by the Telecom Nework Provider to receive EVD (Electronic Voucher Distribution)
6. Rewards:
a) Only the first 1,000 customers will be rewarded each day. Any single subscriber purchasing Airtime multiple times within the period of counting the 1,000 subscribers will have only the first purchase considered and rewarded (a maximum reward of GHS2.00 per subscriber per day for the normal promo period and GHS20.00 on Mother’s Day, 9th May 2021.
b) Prize will be given within a maximum period of 1 hour from time of purchase.
c) Reward will be Airtime credit only and will be directly credited to the phone number that initiated the airtime purchase.
d) If electronically crediting the phone number cannot be done for whatever reason, technical or operational, the subscriber will be called to provide an alternative via text. (which would
include the recipient’s number or any other phone number on the same network as that of the initiator).
e) Rewards will be sent to only phone numbers on telecommunication Networks in Ghana and they must have been provisioned to receive Electronic Voucher Distribution (EVD).
7. The construction of the prize shall be determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion and cannot be amended in any way.
8. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for death or personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the names and telephone numbers of prize-winners after the closing date of the promotion.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate or amend this promotion at any point during the promotion period by giving notice.
11. Inability to accept the prize or the associated terms and conditions will result in it being withdrawn and possibly allocated, at the discretion of the Promoter, to an alternative prize-winner.
12. All other terms and conditions bothering the use of the GCB Mobile Banking Solution will remain in place.
13. The terms of this promo shall take precedence over any conflicting clause within the general T&Cs within the promo period.
14. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
