The Accra Zone of GCB Bank Limited has organized a medical screening exercise at the Liberty House branch for clients in the Kantamanto business district.
Eye, diabetes and hypertension screening were major highlights of the exercise which saw the diagnoses, treatment and referral of critical cases for further treatment.
This is in commemoration of the Bank’s 65th Anniversary celebration of the Bank. All zones of the Bank across the country have identified various projects for the benefit of their client’s and the communities within which they operate. GCB was established on May 20, 1953.
The Accra Area Manager, Mr. Justice Gaveh, thanked the clients for taking advantage of the exercise and reiterated them to stay active and healthy.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Josie Ghartey was excited at the success of the program.
“A major aim of our exercise was to primarily take care of our clients in the environs of the Bank, and we did our best to make this medical screening”
Some members of staff volunteered to support the medical personnel to carry out the exercise.
