GCB Bank Ltd. has made a cash donation of GHC28, 500.00 to the Police Depot in Tesano for the purchase of two defibrillators for use at the Depot’s Clinic.
Defibrillators are devices for treatment of conditions of the heart and the Depot had approached the Bank for support to enable it cater for the medical needs of the large police community which extends from Adabraka, Tesano, Achimota, to Mile 7 Police Station and Barracks as well as Kaneshie and Dansoman.
Mr. Nesbit Nettey, Accra-Tema Regional Manager of GCB made the presentation to the Commander of the Depot ACP Deborah Addison-Campbell.
This gesture, alongside many others, is to enhance the existing relationship between the Bank and the Police Service which has existed for several decades.
The Commander commended GCB for this support to the Police Community and said the Clinic reaches out to a population of over 1000 apart from its recruit population of 600. She washappy that this support will help mitigate some of the needs of the Depot’s Clinic which is currently under refurbishment.
