The second draw of the GCB Big Money Promotion has been held in Accra with customers of the first draw receiving their prizes.
Mr. Thomas Osei Gyau, Dormaa Ahenkro branch won GH¢2,000, Mr. Victor and Mrs. Gifty Ankora of the Republic House Branch, GH¢3,000, Madam Adwoa Pinaman Afrifa, Ejisu Branch, 1kva Generator, Mr. Yusifu Labaran Effiduasi Branch won Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge while Sebuabe K. Makafui, Tema Main Branch got 5 Kva Generator picked their prices at the second draw while new winners of the promotion emerged.
The Acting Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Robert Akati Adamu and the Head of Consumer Banking Department, Mrs Doris Wunu presented prizes to the winners of the first draw of the promotion conducted by the National Lotteries Authority (NLA).
The winners of the second draw are Madam Evelyn Anima, Koforidua Branch, Madam Abigail Gyamfi, High Street Branch, Mr Ben Bright Caiquo, Prestea Branch, Madam Akosua Adjei-Boakye, Kejetia Branch, Mr. Kasimu Ashadu (Yeji Branch) won GH¢2,000, GH¢3,000, 1kva Generator, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and 5 Kva Generator respectively.
Mrs Doris Wunu, the Head of Consumer Banking, in a speech said GCB is making strides in improving the deposit of the Bank in the face of economic challenges.
She added that the Bank would roll out new products where customers will be able to buy household products on hire purchase but cheaper rate than with cash.
The promotion which was launched in April runs for six months and customers who deposit or top-up their accounts with GH¢500.00 stand the chance of winning prizes up to GH¢300,000. Other prizes include generator sets, Smart Phones and Samsung tablets.
Mr. Adamu also congratulated the first draw winners saying that the prizes they received were the practical manifestation of the reality of the Promotion.
