 Terms  And Conditions

These terms and conditions govern all aspects of the 2015 GCB Big Money Deposit Promotion ™ GCB promotion (“Promotion”). Entries not made in accordance with these terms and conditions will be disqualified.

Section 1: Prize

Conditions

• The winner must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• If the Prize is subject to any tax or other government charge or levy, the winner is liable for payment of such tax, charge or levy.
• The Prize excludes costs associated with any ancillary spending to receive the prize. Compliance with any applicable government / legal requirements is the responsibility of the Prize winner.
• By accepting a Prize and/or as part of a promotion, the winner is deemed to have accepted all of the applicable terms and conditions.

• The Prize is not exchangeable, not redeemable for cash and not transferable. Any unused portion of the Prize will be forfeited.

Section 2: General Information

1. The Promoter: The promoter of the draw is GCB BANK LTD P.O. BOX 134 (00233) 302 673637

2. Participating Branches: All GCB Branches Nationwide

3. Promotion Period: The Promotion will commence at 8.31 am on 29^TH April 2015 and will close at 3.59 pm on 31 October 2015. All times recorded throughout these conditions of entry are in Greenwich Mean Time.

     Qualifying Transaction:

• Open a new account with GHS500 OR Top-up your existing balance with GHS500 or its multiples.
• Maintain an average of the new balance through the promo period and stand the chance to enter a draw to win a prize.
• For monthly draws maintain the new balance for that month and stand a chance to win a prize In the monthly draw
• The draw of winners will be supervised by Ghana National Lotteries/Ghana Gaming Commission.

• The time of a Qualifying Transaction shall be the time the relevant branch authorizes the transaction.

5. All Accounts are domiciled at a branch

Section 3: Eligibility

Eligibility: To be eligible to enter the Promotion, you must: Hold one of the following GCB Individual Accounts:

 Others

• Be a natural person over 18 years of age and not a company or other corporate entity;
• Be a resident of Ghana and of sound mind
• In the case of joint account holders, the person whose name appears on the Transaction slip that makes the Qualifying Transaction will be the person eligible to win any prize.
• All customers participating in the promotion must be KYC (Know Your Customer) compliant

Non-Eligibility: You are not eligible to enter the Promotion if you are an employee, or an immediate family member of an employee, of the GCB or its associated agencies

Section 4: Draw

• You will automatically receive one entry in the draw for every Qualifying Transaction made.
• The winner(s) will be determined by a chance draw based on eligible GCB transactions, using a computer-based random number generator. There is a minimum GH¢500 deposit into one of the qualifying accounts required to be eligible for the Prize, but the greater number of eligible transactions you make, the better your chance of winning.
• The draw will take place at the GCB. Head Office, Thorpe Road, Accra or Zone as may be determined by the parties
• The winner(s) must be a holder of one of the qualifying GCB Accounts domiciled in a Branch.
• The winner will initially be notified by phone, followed by sms.
• The winner’s name will be published in The Ghanaian newspapers within 30 days after the draw.
• If, after 3 months after a draw and notification, a Prize is not claimed after GCB makes efforts to contact the winner, the Prize will be considered unclaimed.
• The Promoter (or a Participating Branch) reserves the right to verify the identification of the winner prior to delivery of the prize. In the event of any dispute in relation to the draw, the Promoter’s decision is final and no negotiation will be entered into.

Section 5: General Terms

• The Promoter makes no and hereby specifically disclaims any, representations or warranties, express or implied, in connection with this promotion and the prizes, except in accordance with any applicable Ghanaian law and any corresponding provisions of any applicable legislation.
•  The Promoter excludes all liability for any loss, cost, expense, damage or injury however caused, suffered or incurred in connection with this Promotion or the Prize.
•  The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this promotion if, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control, this promotion becomes incapable of being run as planned.
• The collection, use and disclosure of personal information in connection with this Promotion are governed by the privacy policy of the Promoter available from www.gcb.com.gh and these terms and conditions.
• The Promoter may use personal information it collects in relation to the winner and their travel companion for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and conducting publicity in relation to this Promotion.In doing so, it may disclose such personal information to third parties including but not limited to GCB and GCB’s travel agent.
•  This promotion is authorized under NLA/GC 

Section 6: Marketing Communication

• The winner(s) by participating in this Promotion agree for GCB and its agencies to use their images, voices and Videos for the purposes of this promotion for a period of 2 years
• The winner(s) shall not publicly participate and endorse competitor promotion and products
