There were also consolation prizes for other customers of the Bank who were picked for other rewards including LED TV sets, Replica Jerseys and branded footballs.
The Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) of the Bank, Mr Samuel Sarpong, said the GCB 30 TO BRAZIL PROMOTION is unique because it is national in character and all customers irrespective of where they are have the equal chance of winning.
Mr Sarpong urged all customers of the Bank to take advantage of the promotion by depositing GH¢1,000.00 into their current account or maintaining multiples of it to qualify for the draw.
Alternatively, Ghanaians could open a current account with the Bank and deposit GH¢1,000.00 into it and qualify for the draw.

For customers who have not yet won anything, he said, they still have the chance of emerging winners in the next draw scheduled for June 2, 2014.
Mrs Doris Wunu, Head of Consumer Banking Division of GCB explained that the promotion is aimed at sending Ghanaians to Brazil to support the national team, increase the support base of the National Black Stars in Brazil and showcase the investment potential of brand Ghana to the world.
