In a significant show of commitment to its policyholders, SIC Insurance PLC has fulfilled its obligation under the Banker’s Indemnity Policy by presenting a cheque of GH¢1,541,446.19 to GCB Bank PLC. The claim was made by GCB Bank PLC following an incident covered under the terms of the policy, and the successful disbursement reflects the strong partnership and trust between the two institutions.
The cheque presentation took place at the premises of GCB Bank PLC, with the Managing Director (MD) of SIC Insurance PLC, Mr. James Agyenim-Boateng, leading the SIC delegation. Receiving the cheque on behalf of the MD of GCB Bank PLC was the Deputy Managing Director, Finance, Mr. Socrates Afram, who expressed appreciation for the swift and professional handling of the claim.
Also present at the ceremony were Mr. Abraham Ferguson, Chief of Staff of GCB Bank PLC; the Head of GCB Insurance, Rev. Isaac Kow Hammond and other key members of the Bank’s Executive and insurance teams.
